Focus on humanitarian assistence

Yemen’s conflict is ongoing and the Netherlands supports the UN-led peace process. Support has also focused on facilitating dialogues, training and policy input, aimed at inclusive conflict resolution. Gender-Based Violence survivors received medical and psychosocial assistance. Demining resulted in large areas being cleared. Access to clean drinking water and the establishment of sanitation services have been a priority. In terms of motherhood and family planning, health services have continued to function in many areas of Yemen. Yemeni women are able to access information and medical support related to sexual and maternal health.
